Also i solved my problem, im a new owner of a 04 tahoe the price was to good.

talked to the builder said i broke the pump.
Well the mystery is gone.. and just pull it apart clean it up, put a pump and converter and make sure to seat it properly and your good.. that should live a long life.. you put the right parts in it.
I think regardless I'm going to tow it to my house and monkey with it there and take my time.
I think thats a solid plan. nothing sucks more than trying to figure something out when your on someones lift and time..

If you broke the pump, you need to pull the pan and check to make sure there wasn't any debris sent anywhere else in the trans.
yes, the pan needs pulled to get the pump out so thst will be a must and ill cut tue filter open of it really did pump any fluidm
Flush and pressure test that trans. Also check your torque converter for damage if you didn't line it up correctly. I damaged mine
Friend of mine learned that lesson the hard way on his F250. His mistake was pulling the trans to the engine with bolts despite me telling him not to before and during the install. If you're lucky like he was it just damaged the pump not the converter, hopefully just a pump in this case.
ill probably just spend the money on a converter anyway. i can get one from transtar for 100.00
