front pump for 4l60E googled and then clicked shopping found few used or rebuilt ones.

The hard part is they are not listed by year range to often and I don't know what mm the pump is, they are case specific. I need to do some more research before I pull the trigger.

I hate to say it Ben, but trying to get this transmission working on the cheap hasn't panned out for you so far. Isn't it time to slow down, save up some cash, and get this done by someone with a good rep?

Yes, but this one has 600 in parts in it. only thing cheap was the builder, but he has been doing it for 35 years. He knows what he is doing.

All I should need is a pump to get back on the road, it was user error on my part.

Fair enough. Just hate to see you keep throwing money and time at it.

I know what you mean though AJ, what I meant to say was in the 35 years he has been doing this he should know what to do. I feel confident that he knows what he is doing. If I didn't goof up the install I would be driving.

Be sure when you reattempt that you slow down and take your time. You've been working on this truck for years, a couple more days if necessary won't make a difference. And don't be afraid to ask for help.

It really will make a difference. I recently had to do some things at a friends place.

I made a couple of dumb mistakes I should have never made. If I were home it would be a step away go inside calm down and then back to it

Yep, or go measure, go back inside and ponder.

I've done builds offsite before. Not a fan

For the first year my truck was offsite, so every weekend go through the routine of loading the truck up with tools and driving over. Unloading tools. Starts to get dark, load them back up and drive home... Big pain in the ass. Didn't get much done, until I brought it home.

Thought this was kind of funny, this is what was good out of the first trans...

You know that case would make a very sentimental flower pot at the new house............

And the bellhousing makes a great step stool lol.
