Yup, it's -8an I should have paid attention to when the lines were being made or kept the reciept, now I can buy a cooler.Right side is AN. They work in 16ths, so -6 = 6/16" or 3/8"
Tried to strip the orange off and it wasn't coming off easy so I scuffed it and shot it with some left over aluminum paint.

What the difference between AN and jic? I use jic at my work and as far as I can tell they are identical. They even list the sizing the same way, by 16th's
Yup, the way it was explained to me is that AN is built to an aircraft grade tolerance. JIC is basically exactly the same and cheaper, and plenty good for anything else.AN is 37° flare, JIC can be. AN fittings are built to tighter tolerances.

I have used it on lots of rigs. Never on my own but in 4 early broncos i helped or did auto swaps on
