Silly question, whats the difference between a external trans cooler and engine oil cooler.

There are several designs for both, but theoretically could be interchanged. Although a trans needs a lot more cooling than the oil usually does so I would have a much larger capacity trans cooler.
New cam is in, can't wait to fire this thing. Been wanting a rowdy cam sense I got my drivers license at 18, 15 years later why not do it to your first vehicle?
I take it you are installing the Holley at the same time?
Is that dust or just stains on your throttle blade?

Come to find out new years was a lot of silt. For the first time in 6 years I have to clean the air filter.

Almost have the entire electrical system out of the truck. I have no idea how it didn't catch fire.

He did get to drive it after bb15 and he loved it.
So I have a set of these I want to put in. What's your guys thoughts about doing some 1/4 20 hardware and screwing it to the firewall?

Panel cement and pop rivets. or use nutcerts.
I was thinking nutserts with some nice hardware.
I like those panels. Some nice stainless pan head allen or torx bolts will certainly fit the bill. Part of me regrets not smoothing the firewall when I had my cab sandblasted, so with the engine and all your wiring out, now is the time to make it look nice.
My exact thoughts, go like every 3 inches or so. Might even use like some stick on adhesive foam on the back side to help create a barrier between.
Open to ideas, anybody have any?
Supercharger will go on one day.
My next question is should I do firewall grommets or electrical plugs for the harnesses?
For the EFI I would definitely want a large grommet. You don't want to have an extra plug for all of those connections to worry about.
That was actually one of the ones I wanted to create a plug.
