Silly question, whats the difference between a external trans cooler and engine oil cooler.


Besides, one does the trans and the other engine.
 
There are several designs for both, but theoretically could be interchanged. Although a trans needs a lot more cooling than the oil usually does so I would have a much larger capacity trans cooler.

Is that dust or just stains on your throttle blade?

Come to find out new years was a lot of silt. For the first time in 6 years I have to clean the air filter.
 
I like those panels. Some nice stainless pan head allen or torx bolts will certainly fit the bill. Part of me regrets not smoothing the firewall when I had my cab sandblasted, so with the engine and all your wiring out, now is the time to make it look nice.

My exact thoughts, go like every 3 inches or so. Might even use like some stick on adhesive foam on the back side to help create a barrier between.
