Discount tire "Direct" is their warehouse not a store. I have probably bought 30 tires from the warehouse. was really nice when they didn't charge tax and shipped free to Kommiefornia. Most time the prices are better than the DT stores. Have to double check, if you call them and order the salesman can discount more esp if they don't have exactly what you want (wink wink)

Yeah I have 285 75 16 on 6.5" wide wheels, I mounted those and put a cup of air soft bb's in each one
Didn't catch that first time reading, thank you for the tip. I started with 6oz a tire, hoping it's enough.

I originally tried discount but they wouldn't sell me the tires. The conversation went $1500 mounted, balanced and certs, I asked how much for just the tires and certs, $1600 then asked why did it come up in price if they are not mounting them. Then he asked why I didnt want them to mount them. They wouldn't last time cause my wheel is a 6.5 inch and their book says 8.5 minimum for safety. He puts me on hold and comes back saying sorry I can't make the sell.

I went to my old work and paid 266 per tire... going to have them order 2 more from discount and I'll pick them up.
I had the same problem with Costco but they did sell them to me cheaper and I mounted at les schwab.

Starting to dig into a problem I have, on the freeway the trans likes to go in and out of 4th. Been doing some dataloggin and if anyone that knows what they are looking at would you be willing to take a look? I also found out I either need more injector or fuel pump cause it dips to 20psi at times.

Also will have two rear tires tomorrow.

Is it dipping down under load when the injectors are at higher flow? Or is it dipping down for a moment when you let off at higher RPM and the vacuum spikes? Either way it shouldn't dip that far, could point to the regulator or the pump though depending on which.

Are you referring to the trans capture you posted in the EFI thread? Let me know if you have any questions.

Under high RPM and injector load, it dips to 20 psi for a split second.

Temp pump is a https://www.speedwaymotors.com/Walbro-GSL392-Inline-Racing-Fuel-Pump,65378.html

That pump should be enough for your engine, unless it is mounted too high and can't pull the fuel up enough, or the filter is plugged, or the regulator isn't functioning correctly.

Are you trying to pull the fuel through another pump right now? They won't work well with a restriction on the supply side.

Yes it's pulling through another pump... I need to order a new fuel tank and lines.

I have some plans for the back half of the truck and trying to see how everything is going to play nice to each other before pulling the trigger.

Damnit Ned, that temp pump was only to go to the carshow. You can’t be trying to tune your shit like that. :shame:

Yeah, not really tuning the engine, more so the trans at this point. I turned off the learn feature. I have less then 100 miles on the pump.

The back end of the truck is in the works of suspension and fuel system. Just not entirely ready to pull the trigger, going to try and get a house next year and dumping about 4k into the truck doesn't seem like a good idea.

I would say that you need to stay away from WOT then. Gotta have all of the pieces to complete the puzzle.
