Silly question, but would this make the engine use less gas?
Probably not, because the injectors will open longer to deliver the same fuel the engine needs.

But at the same pulse width, less fuel will come out, so you will have better fuel control at low load such as idle and cruise.
 
I assume you'll need to modify the backbone to work with leaf springs? Pockets for the U-bolts and possible clearance for the spring perches?

We will see how much. Just sold my old wheels and tires, dude gave me $400 for them and ran away thinking he got a killer deal. Was it? Maybe I should have listed them higher then 500.

Um, yeah. That’s only 50 bucks a piece.
 
Crappy picture but I hope it works, how’s this look? The weird cells in the top right are afr at 60-85 which is where I drive the truck on the highway
