It is for right now. HA! No telling for how long though. I'll have to get you to come over and fix the frame up and make it look nice since you're so go at it now. You could probably drill a hole in the frame in about a minute now right? :D in your sleep too. :haha:

It's still on the road it's not ugly!

I wouldn't say I know what I'm doing... I had to pay for a welder to come over. Only thing i did was spend the time to grind it flat and sand. Thanks for the props though I appreciate it

yours is on the road:rolleyes: The Road to Recovery:D:D:D:D:D

You spend to much time on that frame and you my regret it later.

It's a PITA to keep clean once you start driving it.:doah::whistle:

Not sure how I would know that.:haha::haha:

Looks good keep it up.:waytogo:

The little details like that really stick out to the guys who have any idea what they are looking at. Well worth it IMO.

Thanks for the hitch pics KTM, that is what I was brewing up in my mind.

Teck, this is pretty much all the smoothing I'm going to do on the frame. I will give it a light sand down the rest, and give it a few coats of paint and call it done. I mainly wanted to fill in the 2wd holes and figure while I was paying might as well fill these in also. I can only wish my truck will turn out half as good as your K5 looks.

Its should be way more then half as good as mine. You are off to a good start.
Its not that hard to do. Don't under estimate yourself.
I think ya'll give me to much credit for mine most of the time.
Keep up the good work, you can do it.:thumb:

Thank you for the words of encouragement. I hope I can keep plugging away at this.

No new update today besides I got free poly bushings for the springs. This weekend I plan on tossing up the front axle. :pimp:

Thanks Todd.

Does anyone think this is going to be a problem?

No. That big hole doesn't bare the load. Its the 4 bolts around the perimeter that bare the load.

That is what I was thinking but I'm really not sure. I got a late start on it today I could have had it on 4's today and rear to tear into the rear tomorrow.:haha:

Does anyone know if they make wider bushings and how to get them? I put some in not thinking and they I have like half a inch of room left over on the front spring eye.
