That is what I'm thinking it won't be a show truck by any means but I want it to look clean.

And frankly I want to drive it, It's been almost a year.:frown1:

Yes with imperial blue metallic off the chevys

The main thing is, the paint job is going to cost a lot more then I originally quoted and I would rather be driving it while saving for the paint.

It won't match. Might be close. To make it durable, you should clear coat it after you rattle can it. That color is going to be hard to put down even. A lot of mica and dark.

I wonder how hard it would be to paint around the engine? I might be able to get away with taking the intake manifold off to gain some clearance. I wonder how close that would be?

I'm thinking I might be able to get away with it if I remove the intake manifold. I don't know anything about painting and proper gun control so I can't make a call.

The bottom half I will just spray paint so it looks semi decent.

Ya I could do that to, here is another example that looks like it has plenty of room.

If that is where it stands today, and you don't pull the engine and do it right, you should be bitch slapped.

Lol yes, I just don't have the room to hold onto a cherry picker for ever. Wait until you see my garage. :eek1:

Yes, I will find a way. I'm thinking I will hold off on the paint and just get everything running and set in correctly.

This way I don't have to cheap out on things I don't want to. Like that 14bolt FF

Love the color! It really pops in person too.

So do I, I just wish it didn't make sense on holding off to paint it.

It's my two favorite colors, blue and black. :D

Not really a fan of the bed liner look, not the direction I want to go with this truck.

And a paint to match firewall just looks so much cleaner. :pimp:

This is also the color combo I'm going with under the hood with gloss black of course.

Well, you can use rattle can and get good results. It just takes proper prep and sanding.
