Wearing a hat helps keep some of the sweat out of my face when I'm working on my truck. I work on it right out in the sun (with extremely high heat and humidity) beside my house, so I feel your pain. Just a few minutes will wear you out. If I have a multi-day project planned (and yours has taken several days now), I'll rig up some tarps with bungee cords and the like, and put a big fan down at the end. Makes a world of difference.

I salute you for sticking with this project for so long. Don't give up on your dream man. You got this. It's coming along good. Plus there's really no time limit when you think about it.

I'm never going to give it completely up. :thumb: The thing that sucks is every time I work on this I'll have to take it down when I'm done.

I do have the availability of a garage but no tools over at that house. :doah:
 
Was feeling a little down today, I climbed in the seat and made motor noises. :haha: Instantly felt better, I can't wait to drive it again. I hope it's everything I dream it's going to be.
 
Motivation is here, I just can't seem to escape everything else and put in solid time. I'm always doing something else. :doah:
 
I really should, but I'm that guy everyone calls for help. I hope to get something done this weekend, it's a 3 day long weekend and I hope to get started mounting the hoops.

I don't have the cross over steering yet, you guys think I should wait to mount the shock hoops?
 
Turning phone off is best advice ever, I go to change oil and end up laying in the driveway underneath the truck watching youtube videos of someone breaking their nose shooting a .50 Desert Eagle or looking at the Chive.
 
The CHIVE has caused me more being late from the sh*thouse at work more than any single app on the web today. Especially Mondays "So you got drunk" pictures.

These guys already know on Mondays that I am not exactly focused on work and checking Chive. I cut Keep Calm Chive On in my dads front yard and have a Google Earth pic of it. He was thrilled.

I think I answered my own question by looking back at old pics.

I think I need to wait to get the cross over to build the hoops, I might set them up wrong and run the max bump into the pitman arm and not have enough shock travel.

Personally I would wait on the hoops and get the steering done first since the truck needs steering worse than hoops.
 
Yes, but it's going to have to wait awhile... I was ready to order it then I got registration cost in the mail and it's 455 dollars. :doah:

Was just trying to get some free work in and push forward.
 
Hey Ben idk who your planning on getting your cross over from, but fourwheelsupply.net is who I went with. It's a new company they just started this year making stuff but I went with them for my crossover on my 60 and stuff looks pretty good. I got springless steering arms, 2 gm 1ton tie rod ends, they send a 54" piece of DOM for you to cut to length, and new studs for $233. Plus they offer free shipping and it was at my door 3 days after I ordered it:thumb: I'd recommend checking them out.
