Your heim length is OK as you show it.

Someone else asked about double shear.

Pimam arm is supposed to be pitman arm.

Ok so a half inch of thread showing on a 2inch thread is ok?

sounds good I'll get this going wedneday.

Well, it turns out even if you don't have a HOA you can still get popped. :doah:

Sad thing is my house still looks better then 3/4 of the ones on my street... Must be a Ford guy. :haha:

Wow. They are looking for revenue. What now? Put up a temp construction fence with screening. Tell them the driveway is being worked on.

I know right? I keep the driveway clean no parts laying around It's covered up so it doesn't look like "trash" I wash down the driveway when I'm done and respectable of the time.

It has been over a year and it should have been done. I'm not upset or anything, I was told a bunch of houses got in trouble as well around here. I guess I have two weeks to get this truck done with a option of a two week extension.

Who wants to come over for a marathon wrench off. :pimp:

I have a month max, I think I can get it rolling with the hoops, bump stops set, steering built and the leafs back together. I have a garage to put it in 5 mins away from my house, I just don't have the tools really.

No worries, the build still goes on.

Appears it is, I won't be running a sway bar at first. I wan't to see how it is then if needed I'll add one.

Okay that makes sense. What's that top tube? An anti-sway bar?

I finally went to a computer where I could see the picture. The top tube is the anti sway bar. Held at the ends with rubber with stock mounts. Really a lame way to build something, looks like they're trying to use the stock anti sway bar as a long travel bar.

Low buck but might work for a while. Not optimum.

hmm, I'm thinking about making a make shift way to get it over with just the main leaf attached. I'll need it to be supported and able to roll up on a trailer then go for a 5 min ride then roll off the trailer.

Anybody have any ideas?

It's going in a garage. :woot:

Wood blocks? Why can't you just winch it up on a trailer? I mean the leaf spring mounts are still there right? Just attach the main leaves like you said and roll or winch it up on the trailer with some 2x12s.

the main leaf won't support the front end. I can stand on it weighing 155lbs and collapse it a few inches. If I bounce on it I can make it flat. If I had a set of springs I could toss them in real fast...

That is a good idea, I would do this but I cut the shock mounts off. :doah:

I'm just going to pull up my skirt and go nuts on building the front end.
