Easy solution to your problem is get a strip of steel for the underside of the frame. Do plug welds in the holes and grind them smooth. Then do not worry about the bottoms side.

Trying to make due with the time I have to keep on going. I think IF I cut out the bad portion and weld the new portion in and all looks good I won't have to worry about it.

*sighhh*.... 2 new pages of posts since yesterday. Not one about any progress![]()
Its clobbered up with weld even after grinding.
Junkyard wanted 150 for patch so I guess it's getting left. I did clean it up as good as possible but it isn't how I like doing things.
or just leave it as is and it will most likely be fine. And to think this build thread has more than double the posts that mine has...

150 bucks lol, if you are really worried about it, buy some 1/8 or 3/16 steel and weld it underneath the bad spot, done. Move onor just leave it as is and it will most likely be fine.

So what's the problem? Grind the bottom side of the frame and clean it up some.
Looks great! But your getting spatter all over your tie rod and drag link! And maybe on your little helper? :giggity :
