Jackstands everywhere

Ya I'm kind of big on safety at times and everything has to go under the truck when I leave.

Move it as far forward as you can before you start getting interference on the front side with the tires/fenders.e, go at least one inch forward of stock.

It's already pretty far forward dont think i can go a ton more forward.

I just need to find the happy medium with the ups and downs and weigh them together.
 
Almost positive I'm not going to win this battle and the fender will.

Few mins ago I was sitting in the front seat and a Mother was pushing her son in a stroller and he yelled look mom a truck pointing at me.:pimp:
 
move the rear mount back. Longer the links are, the less front to back movement.

This is with the mount moved back. I would have to sacrifice another inch of bump travel to have it work.

The links hit the frame. Thats why my mounts are outboard of the frame.

I see Ord did have this setup at one time. In the multiple versions they came up with.
 
Just run no fenders for a bit, bring me yours in July, and I'll give you mine to chop up :dunno:
 
Must have fenders.:doah:Not sure what to do at the moment to resolve this issue.

I don't think ORD has those brackets on the shelf, so I will have to move it back to where it was, and push the axle as far up as I can get away with and deal with it.
 
As little as possible. It will need to miss the lower link at full droop. So may not be doable. Heat the pvc to put a bend in it first.
 
Honestly, I thought about bending the link but isn' it 1/4 wall? Seems not all shops can bend that. And tthe other thing was I wouldn't want to explain to everyone that asked why my link was bent.
 
2 inch x .250 wall so yes it's 1/4 DOM. I would rather explain why the upper link is bent vs the bottom link.
