They are not self tapping bolts. They are self centering/locating bolts. No drill point on them. You can use any bolt the same size and tread pitch. You just have to be smarter than the assembly line guys and start them straight.

Hmmm, I'm debating on if I should grab them at the hardware store or go to the junkyard and hopefully find a blazer rear bumper and receiver hitch.

Is it the blazer or suburban that shares the same bumper bolt pattern on the frame?

Like Wade said, they are not self tapping. They are pointed like that to aid in alignment.

I have buckets full of those bolts. I cut up a lot of trucks.

They also have a retained flat washer. I prefer to use the factory screws.

NAPA carries them. They come in packs of 5 ea. I bought a bunch of them when I was putting my front end back together.

I do not. I believe the pickup hitches are different than the Blazer/Suburban.

I have used a hitch I have pulled off a K10 on a K30.

Any decent parts store or hardware store will have them under the "automotive" bolt drawer.
