Screw it, call in dead. Moab is more important!

Now I can't hear it.:dunno: all valves are moving on the drivers side then why did the o2 fall off.

here is the exhaust temps at the headers starting from bank one Near the radiator going back to cab
1 is 209
3 is 238
5 is 237
7 is 200

Bank 2
2 is 239
4 is 243
6 is 267
8 is 280

What gives.:dunno:

Around 220 is normal when I was looking around a couple of sites. Sounds like maybe valve float and it stuck. Maybe all good now. Have to get it back up to the same range again to know for sure.

If you can't hear the noise and the exhaust sounds fine, continue to drive it the next few days.

Tonight I'm going to pull plugs and do a compression test along with plug reading. If everything checks out I'm going to try and flush the injectors more.

also checking fuel pressure wouldn't be a bad idea.

sounds more like dirty injectors to me with the uneven exh temps.... we see that sh*t ALL the time in the boats.... just did a set yesterday in a 6.2....

we take em to the marina down the street, they have the cleaning/testing machine...

what's the mileage on the mill?

Engine itself has 40k I have maybe a mile on it?

Unknown mileage on the injectors, I'm leaning to this as well. To get the truck to start we had to flush the injectors because they were clogged.

I need to borrow my buddy's GM Tech 2 scan tool and read it. If I disable injectors, what would I notice or hear?

pull em and have em run thru the machine.. everything else is a bandaid/wish/prayer... bet you have multiple that are loaded up...

I'm sure out there you probably have a couple places that do it locally.. couple days, back in.. under $200... all the difference in the world....

I've had some clog before that no amount of flushing would bring them back. Wouldn't spray any fuel at all. Had to replace them

Then what I would personally do is run a can of seafoam in the tank and it should get at least somewhat better as you drive.

Basically just listen to the engine And cut out one injector at a time. If the engine stumbles when you cut an injector out or starts missing worse enable that injector and move on to the next. When you get to your trouble cylinder there will be little to no Change in how it's running. Hope I explained it good enough, I have to do it to CAT engines all the time.

we used to do a homebrew rig at work... outboard tank with a HEAVY seafoam concentration mix in it (I'm talking like 5, 6 cans and like 2, 3 gallons of gas), electric pump, battery to fire the injector and run the pump, and run/recycle it thru each injector one at a time for about 10 minutes each...

Itd do wonders often, but ones that where fubared wouldn't come back.. plus it was time consuming, and as a pro biz, it's best to just send them out and let the machine do em..
