makes sense, he is out of town so I cant borrow the tool

Good luck man, I just realized that id read the whole thread but never told you how good the truck is looking! Good luck hopefully you get it running in time!

Thank you sir, it sure has come a long way!

I'm dyeing at work today, nothing to do and I have to sit here for another three hours running ideas through my head.

I would be looking for a set of injectors local if you can find them once you prove that it is stuck. 98% of the injector clean you poor in is BS. So you would need to send out or replace if there bad.

I do have a pressurized can I can hook directly to the fuel rail and pull the fuel pump relay.

Not ideal but way better then poring in crap on the tank

Only problem is it's a hour drive to pick it up and go to the truck.

That would be better choice in my book why not swap injectors and see what happens?

running short on time, it's supposed to be on a trailer Wednesday to go to moab.

If I can't flush them I will be forced to replace them.

Again why not go over to truck crank it up and use a noid light first to make sure wiring is good or pull one injector wire at a time and listen to the sound motor makes?
If you have the tool at your disposal to hook to fuel rail and flush them then why not out there looking at this dang truck? oh hour ride, still I would already be there working on it.
injectors are easy to swap so why not try these things yourself? Don't yank them off and make sure you keep orings and lube them before reinstalling so don't tear rip etc.
Just wanna see what this truck will do on dyno and see you take it to the bash since drop so much $$$$ in it lately.

I'm at work for another hour been here sense 6:45am. :doah: But after this I'm off until the 14th. So far I have done all the free things I can think of.

grab a cold drink and head out there after work then spend couple hours out there make it worth ride. We have faith you will get it right :waytogo:

We will get on it in the am.

Aint scurred yet :)

-fuel pressure test at idle and under load
-noid test
-compression test/leak down
-pull injector rail and see thst they are firing

I have two more motors with the same injectors too of we need them.

See you have a prayer right there with Shawn helping out. If I was closer you could use my injectors from my LS motor for my Chevelle if needed not like it will run in next year.

If you do find it is a injector problem might as well get some flow matched injectors and be done after the BASH.

He's been kicking butt, hopefully ully we can get it sorted

You guys will get it handled. Make it run right, do a once over on it and drag it to Moab!

I have been watching them for months lol

Like Shawn has mentioned, at this point it doesn't seem mechanical and almost a fuel pressure issue or a injector spray pattern...

If worst comes to shove we can slam another engine in for the trip. :thumb:

outside of this current issue, what else needs to be done before it goes on the trailer?
