hahaha I wish, anyone got any home tips for removing a broken tap? it's stuck pretty good and i don't have access to my welder. It's going to hold me up putting the engine in today.

Other then the oil pan it's ready to go in and upgraded the valve springs. Guess I can't complain to much.

I just wanted to be one of those guys that does a ls swap in a weekend

If you keep blowing them up, you'll get enough practice to easily swap one out in a weekend. :haha:

I bet if I could have saved my back it would have been a lot better. Most of the time was spent using the ground as a bench...

I can't wait to get my own man space. Last weekend I was over at a house that had minimum 5 car packing with shelving and a lift. I was amazed and jealous of the room and work space. Just think of the productivity that could be done.

The mall crawler will be on the road next sunday for sure.

how did this rig get named the mall crawler? It's certainly a lot more than that.

Because I will never put it through it's paces that it's capable of. This will be the prissy truck that gets wheeled a few times a year.

Honestly my ultimate done is when I can do expeditionary trips and be able to go cross country. I really want to get back into camping, fishing and exploring the az back rounds. I want this truck to do 80mph with one hand on the wheel and holding a conversation loaded to go camping.

Got the broken tap out, she will be running this weekend.

I've always welded a nut to the broken tap, and then remove it with a wrench (not impact type). It's always worked for me, even when the tap shatters inside the bolt

I know it is the daily driver, but you need to slow down so bad thinks quit happening. Good luck on this weekend of working on it.

Find out the weak points fast haha, thanks hopefully I can get it done.

I'm kind of hard on my things, but I like to try to maintain them as much as possible.
