No just my luck...

Who wants a truck? Ill trade for a box of tissues.

At some point it happens to alot of us. On a samurai I had I went through 5 engines in 4 months.

Stock engine blew. Low milage replacement cracked a piston. Ran great for about 2 days. Got a warrentied used motor, owners son was selling motors off the books and pocketing the cash so no paperwork for my motor. It lasted about a week. Got an 8 valve 1600 had machine work done brand new engine. Nope guy had oblonged the main bearing surfaces. In the month I had that one the shop closed.

Finally I put together the best I could with parts off several different ones. That freaking thing ran awesome.

Also at the time I was a newlywed and it was our only car. I walked alot. Fortunately it all happened when it was warm.

I've been exactly where your at man. And I feel pretty awful for ya.

Just thinking of the stupid shit that gets over looked, we've all done it.

I pulled the Ls out of my old class 1 car 8 times in two days trying to find a oil leak, only to find it was a cracked block. So I welded it up, missed the race I was shooting for, went to the geiser loop, over shot the road by 15 ft or so and flattened the tubes on the bottom of the car into a D. And cracked the bell housing of the transaxle, and the block still leaked oil. I whole heartedly feel your pain. Grab a beer, relax and get some rest. The truck isn't going anywhere

The beer taste good, probably a good thing I only have 3.

I'm praying to tcase went into neutral but it has to come off anyway, I clocked it and it's pissing out the bottom.

Dang man that's tough... Don't sell it. Take some time and breathe if you need to but don't give up. I keep getting money for parts and then there's another bill or something that comes up. Not exactly the same thing but it's still frustrating and I've thought about rolling mine out on the street with a for sale sign.
