After some Google I bet the bang I heard was the pump gear and I'm not getting preasure...It really depends on what the builder says tomorrow. He has been doing this for free and when I picked it up from him he told me if it breaks don't come back...

Maybe its not so bad.
I do the same thing when im petered put...research. Granted my truck is a little more incomplete than yours lol. Still a great use of time.

Well the first one was a craigslist shop advertising, 2nd one current builder had under a bench. and the 3rd one I have no idea.
Agreed it's to depressing to me.

@Greg Ducato is in Texas. But he still is usually some great input.
I keep feeling like we've spent so much time and effort on these "rebuilt" trans to have accomplished nothing. Of everything done on this build, why keep taking shortcuts?
Either buy a tech manual and learn how to operate on the trans and dude it yourself. Or pay the money and get a reputable transmission say from @Greg Ducato and drive off into the sunset happily ever after.
