I put it up for sale for $100 we will see if it sells or the scrap guy at work will give me 10 dollars.
I understand the sentimental value. My oldest drove my truck all through HS but now he's off to college and starting his adult life. So I want to keep mine around too. Plus I have a vision of what it is going to be. I haven't had any major malfunctions like yours yet but I've had to spend my funding on other things lately so I'm in the same boat kind of. When it's all done you will look back and it'll make it all worth it.

When i set the 4 link up i pushed the truck out and jacked it up under the garage until it hit then I set it up.
little lady is pissed, said she can't get to her stuff so I said fine I'll push it out to the drive way, said no I don't want to pay hoa fees for a hunk of shit in my driveway...

You can't park in front of or block the washer and dryer. that will always bring out the Broom.

These problems are suffered when someone draws laundry room plans in the garage. Laundry room should be next to the bedroom so no one has to carry laundry through the house.
