I really need to find something to do at work, just bought two 6 inch light bars for the turn signal bumper and 8 rock lights.

I assume that the body still has the factory grounds? One from the battery to the body and then engine to body?

These the rectangular ones? Where/how you going to mount those?

Am I a snob for liking the old school round lights?

I will just say that after mounting a pair of Rigid D2's on the grill of my '90, and seeing them give great competition to all 4 H4 bulbs on for high beam, WOW!!
I have seen cheap LED bars that couldn't out shine them...

My plan is to try and run them in the 82 turn signal bumper to hide them, possibly order up a lense to cover them.

Man, I came really, really close to swapping out my '83 bumper for an '82 bumper that I had, just for the fun of adding another set of lights. Methinks that looks a whole lot better than the average bolt-on pod lights. :thumb:

I agree, I'm trying to hide just about everything on this truck and not make it look like a custom truck but a clean old normal chevy.

Which 6 inch bars did you get? I was considering doing the same thing for my truck. Thanks
