Sorry, was trying to track down hubs for Dad's boat.
Just drained the tcase, I can stick my finger in it and jiggle something, we got a broken tcase boys.

I don't think I have ever been so happy to hear that someone has a broken transfer case. That's a relief for sure. Hopefully it didn't ruin the case and is just internal parts

How do you split the case apart? I unbolted th3 half but it won't lift off, I think a snap ring is holding it in but where?
Wow trying to remember take the slip yoke section off might be in there.
Pretty sure you gotta pull the front output flange too

Pull slip yoke housing and there's a snap ring in there iirc then pull the speedo gear housing. Lol sorry that's vague but it's been a while since I tore one apart too

It's pulled apart and sitting on the floor, went over it with blazinzuk and all seems good, I think what I was feeling was the chain.
He seems to think it's not trans and possibly a diff problem which I agree, I have been thinking that sense the start. The fact it locked up then rolled away under power, then up and down a trailer then into the garage is weird.

To top it off both my bathrooms in the house are clogged up and I can't get them undone.... dammit this sucks, I have way to much chit going on right now and not enough time. I just sat down at 11:50 and I have been working sense 6:45....
