I tried to break a 10 bolt gov bomb in this truck years ago.... cruising around in a 10.5 aam and it grenades... something wrong with this one hahah

Yep, it's amazing that Shawn has never blown one up, but you managed to... It's all those burnout videos you made :burnout:

I'm going to be super busy on all my stuff, so the part is free, but you have to do all the work for pulling it out and slapping your broke parts back into my axle.

When you go to pull your parts out you should check the backlash first so you can set it back to the same settings. I have a dial indicator setup you can borrow, but it would probably be cheaper for you to just buy it from HF than drive all the way to my house to borrow it.

Then google a good writeup on how to check backlash. It's fairly important for the life of your gears to get that setting back to what it was before.

I have the dial indicator and gear paint, I'll be pulling it tonight.

Hope I make it through moab with two open diffs.

I haven't been to Moab but I've wheeled on rocks a little before. While having a locker is great you should still do alright, just a little more challenging at times!

If your suspension has decent flex, I bet it will do just fine.

You won't need the gear paint, you're just setting backlash not messing with pinion depth.

I know, just want to see where it's at. Everything shawn and I didn't touch is blowing up. I just want to know and have that good feeling inside.

Stock K5 with open diffs ran Crack n Back with us last year.
