So was it the shell? I totally missed the confirmation of diagnosis?
Rear sprag blew up and gear set showed bluing from heat. We believe my radiator is plugged up and can't be flushed even though I ran 3 cans of cleaner through it and came out clean every time I was done.

You don't have a pinch or kinked line anywhere? I know it's trivial and stupid. Just thinking out loud.

I typically remove the gm fittings and do adapters to go to -6 an fittings and run to radiator or external cooler. i find them easier to route and easier to replace

I have those fancy -an fittings with steel braided line. It has less bends then the factory did and bigger to.

How about port pressure?
I asked them about it and they were not sure. .ore old school technology .

I have looked it up by gm specific but with my trans having go fast parts I bet it will register higher pressure.

I plan on having both on hand.

Might be old school technology, but no/low pressure at the port means lockup issues which means heat

Just loose the radiator cooler, I had the same issue with mine being plugged and toasted one converter before I put a gauge and huge massive cooler on it to bypass the oem. Haven't had a problem since and it'll still get to 160-170 in 20s ambient temp..
