Those new esab's are pretty nice looking.
Agreed, you're turning large tires with a mild cam, you need more line pressure to firm up the shifts (especially the way you drive it) and you're leaving performance and actual drivability on the table.I'd fix that... factory shift points aren't for longevity they're for comfort
Right now it's a stock engine, stock trans tune. Normal driving it's great, but if you are looking for performance it leaves a little on the table.Agreed, you're turning large tires with a mild cam, you need more line pressure to firm up the shifts (especially the way you drive it) and you're leaving performance and actual drivability on the table.
Yes that is why I went with the factory tune, my goal is long trips, I don't need to be rippin through the mountains at WOTI think you will find in the long run that the stock tune is best.
I've had aggressive shifting automatics (yes, I have owned autos...), and even manual valve bodies on the street. They are great for performance. Which is like 5% of your actual driving

Idk, my view is it's not a stock truck, why should it be tuned like one?Yes that is why I went with the factory tune, my goal is long trips, I don't need to be rippin through the mountains at WOT
A Corvette servo would be a nice touch, I thought I requested one but I don't think it made it in, it would bring out the shift a little more and be firmer.

SoooFirmer shift with higher line pressure will help keep the trans alive longer. No one is saying it has to shift like a dump truck but it doesn't hurt to bump it up a smudge
I know that is what is weird, almost sounds like a exhaust tick. My ebrake cables were near it so I hope that was it.Bad tick and vibration? That is so specific, maybe your exhaust belt is loose
