Good chance for young Ben to upgrade to a u bolt style yoke anyway.

Interesting thing though is I measured a Dana 44 9.5" 14 bolt and a 10.5 14 bolt and all my yoke measurements were slightly smaller than published u joint dimensions. But only by .013 at most
 
Stupid question.

When they changed to the melted booger type ujoints from the outside c clip style joint, how much different are those 2 u joints?

If this is a newer 14B, does it need the older style drive yoke?

This is the newer aam 10.5 not sure if it needs a different joint and not a normal replacement with clips.
