Sounds kinda like my rear pinion yoke.

Good chance for young Ben to upgrade to a u bolt style yoke anyway.
Interesting thing though is I measured a Dana 44 9.5" 14 bolt and a 10.5 14 bolt and all my yoke measurements were slightly smaller than published u joint dimensions. But only by .013 at most

When they changed to the melted booger type ujoints from the outside c clip style joint, how much different are those 2 u joints?
If this is a newer 14B, does it need the older style drive yoke?

This is the newer aam 10.5 not sure if it needs a different joint and not a normal replacement with clips.
The same thing happened to my suburban's 14FF yoke. New u-bolt style yoke fixed it. I'm pretty sure it was not my 6.2's fault.

The only things those engines were known for warping or breaking, is hearts and people's reality.
Anyone have a 1410 yoke that we can compare measurements to?
