I have a Jackson helmet and a miller one at work. They are both decent. I don't know pricing as I just go to the tool room and ask for what I need.

I have no idea how I did this but I ordered "c10" rear window seals for a crew cab.

a quality welding hood makes a huge difference.
Seems to work pretty good, amazed I can actually see what I'm doing. Before it was just pitch dark now I can see the material and even the surface the piece is on.
Also extra lighting near your work surface helps a shi ton as well
Anybody know if the weatherstrips from LMC are precision's? Nobody has them in stock and they do.
Don't you work at a Dealership? I'm telling you, get some genuine GM weatherstripping for a 2000s truck. It's a direct replacement on our squares and is so much softer than aftermarket seals.

I think you are looking for the ones around the door, I moved out of the dealership life but I can still get what ever I want to.

Ok, now that I have the weatherstrip figured out and I believe it will be installed this weekend I want to shift focus on something else that I have been wanting to do for a long time. I'm going to get the PRP daily drivers mounted and start on a pre runner console. It will start at the bottom of the dash pad, go down and go all the way back to the cab. I'm thinking along the lines of something like this.
My question is what should I use for material? I was thinking 3/4 tube the seat frame is build out of 1.5 so it could tie into it rather nicely but I don't want it to be overly bulky and look out of place. I also don't have a bender so I thought of solid rod and heating it with a torch and praying I can bend it. Depending on cost this will happen most likely pretty fast. Granted I won't be able to put everything I want to in the console but I can get the shape done and panels.

Do not use solid round.
For easy bending you can use electric conduit, you can bend it by hand and you don't need structural. I have used it for fender edge after the sawzall action

It can be done but I'm willing to bet it will only require two bends. At that point I'll just go to a shop have them do it and toss them a $20 or so.
Why not hone your welding skills and do pie cuts? You know you wanna...
