What's the plan for a T-case shifter?
I bought a jb custom fab cable shifter that will go into a spaceship console between the seats.
Ahh, well then weld that hole shut before you start spraying any rust converter or anything else. The cable doesn't need that big of a hole.

Gun rack back in, it's the little things I keep around that my dad installed back in the day. I probably won't use it for what it's intended for but hey it reminds me of Dad. 3 of the 4 screws are the ones he used to put it in.

Few things in life that make me happy, this truck and a moment to reflect on what's going on.
Need to wire wheel that rust down to really see how bad it is. Could be a couple of small patches would do the job.
I can tell you if you don't see a lot of pitting and the surface is pretty straight once rust is removed which can be done in so many ways, then just convert the rest of rust and paint. If you have pitting or holes or it's too thin from the rust then you'll need patches.
