I feel like you should be installing these on your transmission tunnel for that quick release access...

Good point,

Good point, I will have to go through your build to see where you mounted them.

After looking at the link, I wonder if the cushion built into the pin would be able to act as the factory bumper.
I mounted them on the highest part of the core support. The K5 had them down on the flat area at the front of the core support but then you need long bolts/pins, longer than standard kits IIRC.

It runs

Sounds good

For those that are interested in tuning videos this was really helpful for me.

I have been completely nerding out on this stuff, can't wait to put the rest of the cool stuff in this.

Good to hear!

Was it still cold that you had it idling around 900?

Did you drive it yet?

It was up to temp, just couldn't get it to come down even commanding it to 550. I think I need to adjust the set screw on the throttle body and do a TPS reset.

The oil cooler has a pin hole and the VSS signal is to short and the wrong plug. Also I have zero lights and the wiring is REALLLLLLLY bad, like wrapped around the column waiting to arc on things...

Make sure the IAC is working. The strange thing is, there are two IAC valves, a GM and a Chrysler, that both look similar externally, and they both have the same connector too. The only significant difference is, two of the pins are switched! So in that case the IAC just doesn't work until you physically swap the pins in the IAC connector. Or if you select the wrong IAC type in the drop down it won't work either. Sometimes I go into the park parameters of the IAC with the engine off and just change it from 20 - 100 or something and make sure it is moving like it is supposed to. Then put it back. You'll get it.

I honestly can't remember and I also don't have the fans running so the engine is running for a few minutes at a time. Basically just did a few heat cycles.

One thing I noticed which may seem kind of odd is the exhaust is much louder now. Only thing that changed was intake manifold, cam, and ecu wonder why it's louder?

I thought that’s what you wanted? Marbles in a coffee can

did you mess with the exhaust yet?
I didn't really want it louder but I wanted the coffee can sound. Exhaust is the same, I spent to much already.
Where are the before and after dyno sheets?
Never did get the sheet before the tuner closed it out and refused to do more because the right bank was lean. Eventually I will put it on a dyno to see.
