Yeah but I want to restore this truck and make it my old man cruiser

I want to do a little body work and wrap it. Ultimately I want to strip weld new panels in, and shoot real paint on it someday.
That's kinda where I'm at. Get her running and moving, then replace all the rusted out, bashed up sheet metal. Then, enjoy the drive.

Then that's proper old man body damage.....
What I can’t hear you!!! Get off my lawn !!!!? :haha:

Just found out my sister is getting married October 14th looks like the 82 is pulling the boat to the lake 300 mile round trip!

which lake ?

You mean Get Off My Rocks don't you ?
Woods canyon, child hood favorite spot before it was Covid cool.

While I have your attention, what were those window adjustments you mentioned to keep my window from falling out of the track? I’m on the search for a new one and I really want to put these door panels on.

I've had bolts vibrate out of the door parts, are you missing any? Should be one at the bottom of each track and I think there's adjustment in them.

Yes but it has more in it then the drivers side. I can roll the window up all the way but once it gets halfway down it pops out of the wing window track. I thought that was bent so I replaced it with a new one and same results. Only thing I can think of is the rear track is bent to?

Wes mentioned in Moab there is a few adjustments that can be made to correct it.

I kind of solved the problem temporarily by shattering the window in Moab. No window, no problem. :rotfl:

Yeah there are adjustments but it's been a minute since I have been in one of these doors.
If you don't get your answer soon I will refresh my memory and post here

Looking at the truck the 8 year old ruff stuff heims are loose, was wondering when those were going to need attention.

the bottom of ea track inside the door can be adjusted, not much. You should be able to adjust the guide tension on the window while it is down. The pass side may be bent. you should compare to driver side. Also get the https://www.amazon.com/Tri-Fold-Exploding-Aluminum-Sealing-0-062-0-250/dp/B07K1NZW8Z/ref=sr_1_3?crid=1AVGGZOBR9YM7&keywords=1/4+aluminum+rivets+wide+head&qid=1695087128&refinements=p_n_feature_eight_browse-bin:19044778011,p_n_material_browse:17548930011&rnid=3622110011&s=industrial&sprefix=1/4"+aluminum+riv,aps,168&sr=1-3&th=1 to hold the regulators in, 1/4 bolts will get loose. Grease the slides with white lithium grease.
Tomorrow or Wednesday I’ll be getting a window, looking forward to trying these out.
