When this trans blows up it will be getting one.I vote 4l80
And will drill new ones when I get home. On my way I plan on stopping for some atf rtv to give that a try and put the tcase back in tonight.Engine is on poly leaf spring bushings, trans is on a stock poly mount. What are you using for engine/trans/tcase bushings and mounts?
You putting a little alien blood in your trans?? lol

Yes I did, but using Nord lock washers fixed it!They're both on poly which is good, but if the frame is twisting and causing the problem, maybe a subframe to hold the trans/tcase as a solid unit would help. Did you also say you had problems w/ bolts loosening up?
That’s my thinking as well, I got a new beefy cross member I want to put that stock brace in and will try and brace it more.If those 2 surfaces were moving in relation to ea other, it could cause the bolts to loosen. Maybe there's something there, I dont know.
For some reason it’s doing up about an inch short. What about that brace rod that goes from tcase to bell housing?
That’s what I’m going to do, it came from a 700r4/241 combo. It explains why I don’t have it installed though.Get the correct one or cut it and sleeve it with some tubing and a welder.
I was going to go check it out, but both my girls have tournaments all weekend!that's right Dino's is this weekend have fun
