It works good as long as both surfaces are clean and dry when you put it together,I have a bunch of it laying around if you want some.

Is the vent on your case open and clear?
Yes, I don’t even have a vent hooked to it to make sure.
Got the radiator, fans and water pump removed along with the balancer. Need to pick up some dowel rods tomorrow and I’ll swap the cam tomorrow.
Fighting the cam going back in, can’t get it passed the 2nd to last bearing.

It’s most of the way in, cut the excess off with the whizz wheel
yep walk away for a few, come back to it it'll go right in .
Stuck here, pulled it out multiples times, looks clear all the way down. Jiggled it spun it both ways even talked dirty to it.
Are the lifters out?
No but one didn’t stick all the way up, I stuck dowel rods into the valley to keep them up….
I can push it up but it doesn’t stay.
So is it the hang up?
Are you using a rod or long handle screwdriver in the center of the cam for a handle?
It’s the hang up, it won’t get passed the bearing cause it hits the lifter.
If I have to pull these heads I won’t put them back on…
Can you use a magnet some how to hold the lifter up?
Flip the engine upside down so lifters stop dropping
Tried it don’t have a strong enough one

Well this blows, the lifter fell all the way down. Should I pull the head or just pull the engine at this point?
Still can’t get the lifter, I’m going to pull it and put it on a stand. Fix it right and fix other things that I have needed to address for a long time.
