I doubt anyone has an all original truck anymore. If they do they are the only owner.
I built my multi year.... with type age of these trucks does it really even matter??
Some trucks are definitely more original than others. When I got my blue truck, it very closely resembled its original stock configuration (though broken and worn parts had been replaced, of course). Aside from replacing the bed & intake manifold, I have kept it in this nearly-stock condition. It's still close enough that I could fairly easily un-swap the bed & manifold and have the same configuration that my friends bought 30 years ago.
OTOH, The Suburban has fingerprints all over it. Crummy paint. Bad engine swap. Fuel system mods. T-case has wrong speedo gear. I swapped the axles & added a zero-rate. Tranny hasn't ever worked properly. It would take a lot of work to restore it to it's original configuration. It has permanently joined the underworld.
