1983 K5 trail truck/dd/ R.I.P. 03/14/18

Cool! I keep wavering between going that route vs. getting 4 suspension seats.

my plan was a suspension seat bench in back originally. what sold me was integrated seat belts and they still fold up and remove easily which is way better than the original.

Good call, especially with the integrated seat belts. I have kids that I want to have riding in the back so restraint safety was paramount. I scrounged two front seats and a rear seat with integrated seat belts off of CL early in my build and have been wondering how much fabrication would be involved in getting them mounted.

Although you just cost me $170 you really saved me a bunch of work including another salvage yard run and cutting into my floor. Does the seat feel secure with just the mounts or did you need to reinforce the floor mount points some?

You're selling me good. Plus, the price is a lot better. The problem I had with my last truck was I made it too much of a wheeler, and not enough of a multi-purpose rig. One of my concerns about going with the suspension seats is that it'll make my truck difficult to convert between different modes of use.

Nothing better than not getting anything done while being everything to a little one.

That little guy will remember working with his dad. Stuff like that makes a big impact when they're that age.
