1984 K30 "C4" Truggy on Rockwells

Does look good!

A lot of projects I look back on and think how the heck did I manage all that.

Added my curved LED Bar I’ve had laying around for over a year. Just made my own tabs. I’ll wire it up after I get the cage painted. I normally don’t like these things as they’re a little too poser in my mind, but on this thing it looks alright to meF413114D-39E3-472F-AB29-709410812C9A.jpeg467864E4-5A6B-4768-BA72-B91052D9DD95.jpeg

Also added a bar behind the front seats that will only be used for the shoulder harnesses on the front two seats. I need to get some tabs welded on at some point so I can bolt the shoulder harnesses up. These pics are the seats slid all the way back. It’s nice the front seats still have full slide function. The tube also acts as an “oh shiz” handle for the back passengers too370894E2-302D-449D-B77D-8EAFA4867B82.jpegCE95ED6B-2627-4E57-9994-D2133FF985EA.jpeg

And at this point, that should be pretty much all the tube work on this thing, unless I think of something later to add. It was exactly 10 sticks of tube (20 ft each) to do all that. And the pic below was the only waist I had out of all the 10 sticks. With how expensive metal is right now, I was very happy with that19D781FB-E9E8-48C7-9202-3EAFC9A5EB92.jpeg

I see the thread here on CK5 now. I don't have sound on my work computer so I still don't really know.

I wondered how you were going to deal with painting the cage, but I didn't think about you painting it the same color as the cab. :waytogo:

Yeah, my original plan was just all black, like most all standard exo cages I’ve seen, but then I looked at it and said to myself “what will be the easiest for touch up later on?” And with how tight I got the exo to the sheet metal in most places, I just though why not do it the same color as the cab. Made the painting way easier and I actually really like how it turned out now

I added just a little bit of bracing for the harness bar just for extra security, painted it, and added the shoulder harnesses for the front seats. I also don’t think I ever posted on here that I installed just some lap belts for the rear passengers too. They’ve actually been in the truck for a long time but I just realized I never posted that before.DE89A15E-516C-484D-A18B-DFE4A3CE9EC2.jpeg5E7C4758-E7DC-4D5A-B1AB-386632E1043C.jpeg90538891-191B-41F0-B252-B38CF7E06206.jpeg4C2BBD57-5BB8-44F6-804E-CD5AB2AEF9A6.jpeg
