I am personally not a fan of bigger body lifts, but I really like that I put the 1 inch body lift on my 79. Makes things tons easier when you are working under the truck.
 
1" body lifts can almost be considered utility as mush as aesthetic.
 
In fact, I'd start with the body lift and replace the body mount bushings. Then put the 33's on and see if the zero rate is even needed.

Hell if anything just buy some new stock front springs that aren't worn out and you would probably gain half an inch plus

Do stock k5s even ride nice? Only driven stock k30s which ride horrible.
I'd put a 2.5 ez ride on it just for the low spring rate.
 
I’d go 2” or at minimum ez lift with body lift. I’m guessing this truck doesn’t want to get body trim for clearance.
 
I think 2” would be perfect. Personally not a fan of body lifts cause the bumper always looks funny not being at the correct height.
