1989 Camaro RS

I have people there if you want to bite on them.
I need to get the set I have cleaned up.

I bruised, or possibly broke, a rib on the 3rd and I've been pretty much sitting on the couch all evening after work, trying not to move much. It's been discouraging because this week I've been on 8hr days and had planned on getting a bunch of little projects done in the evening, the GTA wheels included.

Oh well, hopefully I'll heal up quick and be good to go in short order.

Replaced the cruise control/turn signal stalk on the Camaro yesterday. Wound up having to disassemble the column, TWICE.

Gonna drive it this evening and hopefully it fixed the issue with the cruise control.

It looks pretty clean and I can't seem to find a set of the LG4 heads or a complete engine close by for similar money.

I'm still very hesitant to swap it in but it was close and affordable so I figured I'd pick it up for an option if nothing else.

Wow, it still has the oil cooler heat exchanger doohickie on it too. I believe those are hard to find.

I was actually pretty stoked to see it intact!

Just going to put the TBI on it?

Martin

Probably. Keep the LO3 appearance.

I can't tell from my phone, is this originally a TPI engine?
I have a TPI setup if you want

Get the rest of the TPI stuff and make it a proper Camaro.

Maybe. There's a lot of pieces to hunt up to do that and performances wise a ProFlo4 setup would be similar work and money with more tunability.

We'll see....
