I wasn't aware of that. I know these are the pin type and looked identical to mine from the outside. I'll verify this evening. Good info!Fwiw, the latch bushings changed designs a few times over the years. Besides the earlier hook style, there were two different pin types. Iirc, the pin type changed in '89.
The 4th Gen axles are wider. I don't think I would be able to run oe wheels. However some research reveals that I have two 28spl 10b at Dad's so I could use the gears and posi from a later axle.in my housing with the axles from one of those cars. So now we go searching!My buddy did a 4th gen rear end swap in the 80s camaro he built in order to get gears and a posi. Not sure what's all involved.
