1989 Diesel Jimmy. What do we have here hmmmm

Got the filter housing from. Ethan. ( @campfire )

He is a funny guy

Sent me the coolest bumper sticker along with filter and some other stuff.

Pretty awesome place this ck5 place

Awesome! I wanted to make sure you had the correct couplings & plugs before you went to install it (the filter didn't come with them). Nothing like being one coupling short of having a working truck. :doah:

I threw in the sticker and the "Get it Running Again!" (which is pretty hard to see in that pic) as encouragement. Looks like it worked. :thumb:

Mission Accomplished.

So the crossover for the turbo. I still have several inches of the original cross over but still need to make at least 3 bends to get em to meet.

The crossover is 2", I have some 2 1/4 mandrel bends. Shouldt be a big issue usint the slightly larger tube for the middle part.

I know I'm over thinking this but just wanna make sure I'm not gonna handicap my turbo with smaller tube to bigger tube to smaller tube on the crossover

It will be fine. Mine is 2" but the 2.25 should be fine. There are guys that claim you need to go bigger than the 2" but mine spooled and ran out fine. JUST GET IT RUNNING!

Why not start with a crossover for a 6.5L like the 2.5" one Diamond Eye Performance sells or is that way off from what you need?

Sometimes living in a realitivly small town sucks.

Zero straight sections of either 2" or 2.25" exhaust pipe.

Ya, 3 should be good, 1st stage, intercooler, second stage, intercooler, third stage post cooler. Should be good.

Don't forget to hook the back of the first into the intercooler to allow max boost!

If you add over like 40psi maybe you could build a big clamp like the used to build to hold the 5 HP Briggs engines together when the Jr dragster guys turned them up to 50hp.
