1990 5.3 Jimmy

You might consider doing a full top conversion like mine. An easy to find windshield frame from any 73-91 Blazer/ Truck/ Suburban and a long weekend with a welder would get decent results I would think.

I've considered this. I wonder how well the full vert soft top fits on a roof cut like this - can't be that far off can it?

If it were me, I'd straighten what I could and wheel it as is until I could figure out what direction to go. I'm hard on mine in the trails, and after I practically ruined the body on my K5, I fully regret it.

Now that I am having to undo what my younger self did, I am thinking about a second rig that I'm not afraid to beat up.

Yeah it's squished enough its never gonna be very pretty, mostly would like to get a windshield back in it/maybe a top on it so I don't have to trailer it everywhere.

I would definitely replace the windshield frame at a minimum. That way you have a good windshield.
The main decision in my mind would be full vert or replace whole cab top.

Might be worth a shot

Not sure I can swallow 3k for a windshield frame :(
Yeah those are just some I seen. Shit loads of squarebody K5s on FB and www.ksl.com over here in Utah though in all ranges if you wanted to do a full body swap or is your tub good and just needs a front clip and a cab from the cowl up?

Just needs front clip and cowl up, issue with full tub swap would have to be last resort I don't really have capacity in my garage to do it and then I would be cutting up the cage and piecing it back together inside or just re-doing it completely in the cab.
