1990 K5 Build ( Ol' Blue ) : Rocker rust...

maybe ill marinate it in old gear oil and shotgun cartridges first...:weapon21:

Why chance it, mix all of it, then add fire

now we are onto something..... Maybe a few gypsy tears, and i might actually have all the ingredients to remove this

he's moving in June...won't be much of a test. :ignore:

Lookin good Nick.

He could fly and then rent a jeep. Hehe

oh god.. id rather wait till next year haha

It says its about 20 hours of driving. obviously with brakes and sleeping it'll be longer. I would be doing it over 2 days. Rene said when he went from bc, it took him about 24 hours of driving. I would be taking the ferry into Seattle and driving from there. This 350 only has 250k on it. Should hold up!

That's a longer drive to moab

But theres NO SNOW where I'm going. Plus its beeeeuuuutiful. Ill probably never find a job, and living out of my blazer eating ramen everyday.. is a slight possibility. But HEY! thats what blazers are for right? I just need to find a chalet to put on it!

I think it's only 100 miles farther to Moab. It's farther west, but a lot farther south too...It takes a little over 6 hours just to get to the US border from Edmonton, whereas it's really close from Victoria. I think the fastest is to take the Ferry to Mukilteo and go from there.

Got most of it back together for now. Seats, and trim back in for now. I am waiting on t10 LED bulbs and the twist in connectors, hoping this time they work with new twist on connectors. Wired in a tach now. One that actually works, will be nice to see the exact rpms with the new gearing.

-List of things to do before june 14th.

-Remove and install new axle shims
- Finish door swap and remove electric mirrors
- Align both doors
-Pinion seal
-Check over everything before the long drive.
-Collect any extra parts that would be good to have for a 350 and a 16-17 hour drive.
- fine replacement AC compressor line.
- Spare tire carrier
- Change oil and what not..
- Might completely rip out carpet.. Figures having it would help with the noise a little.. Now theres no shitty insulation under it to collect moisture.

And finally....

DRIVE, AND ENJOY THE FUGGIN THING!
