1991 v3500 - big dumb lifted forever truck

A Tribe Called Quest Omg GIF

I like the hub caps but it’s not too late for some 14” Barts. Just sayin….

Dude…

15x14 Bart Super Trucker Wheels

8x6.5 Bolt Pattern

Custom ordered with 3.5” Backspacing and no pinstripe

20 years old and long discontinued. Had one set of tires mounted on them and were never bolted on to a truck. They have been stored inside. Perfect for your vintage 4x4 build!

1000 cash

Hubcaps are dope though. But nice bart 14”ers are out there!

Hear me out.
I’m thinking about putting the ford high pinion 60 in here and using a driver drop 241 instead of the 205.

The 241 is 18.5 long and the 205 is 19” long. Practically negligible for the rear driveshaft.

Now for the front shaft I have to make one but dang look how low that low pinion is.

Then that will give me room for a honkin 5” exhaust too.

Literally no drawbacks except the labor.

If OBYUAN uses an O.G. ‘79 high-pinion Ford D60 it will damn near be a bolt in as is as far as leaf springs are concerned - I assume that’s what he is doin ?

Yeah y’all are right. For clarity, this is a 91 ford 60 I cut into a 79 ford 60. Staying driver drop. I guess now is the tricky part of finding a gm 241 and the right year 29 spline input gear. I do like the fact that the 241 output shaft doesn’t have any lubricant holes in it to make it weaker. The 241 is definitely stronger than the slip yoke 205 I got now.

Another option, though i know you have rear shaft already, would be divorced tcase. Then you pick where you want the tcase and drveshaft lengths, and run cable shifters. You plenty of wheel base. Then you wont need any sort of fancy high angle front driveshaft
