Well, got the boat back from the upholstery shop. I’m not happy with this at all. Other than carpet all they installed is white. The original plans were to try and replicate the factory colors as much as possible and as you can see by the pictures, that did not happen. It’s going back on Tuesday for them to either add some color, or we are never going back there or recommending any future business there. The work they did is nice, but nothing was done like we had originally discussed. I’m absolutely shocked that this is what they thought was acceptable. I’ll be posting more on Tuesday once I talk to them. Until then, I’ll enjoy my 2350 7.4 this weekend...

Yeah, not a boat guy. No plans on coming one either.
It looks nice, but if it's not what you wanted you maybe should have left it there. But what they did do, looks nice.

I was so shocked and angry, I needed to just leave before I got out of control. And I took the boat thinking I wanted it in my possession in case something went south. My dad has mutual friends with him, and is headed down to their shop now to have a chat while I'm at work.

I understand. Anymore I settle it right then and there.
Part of me wishes I did, but I've struggled with anger issues most of my life from a slightly abusive dad. I get better with age, but some stuff can set me off if I'm not careful.

3 day weekend of flawless performance from the 2350 Big Block aka “Big Block Party”. Only hiccup was the fuel pump belt loosened itself and the boat wouldn’t start Sunday morning. 10min fix and it was good to go. Now that it’s running good, it’s time for some cosmetic attention.
Pretty sure when I can spare the funds I will be looking for a boat similar to your big block one.
Got a phone call this morning. Boat should finally be finished up with upholstery work today or tomorrow. They added some gray/silver to match the seats, and some red beading in the seat cushions to match the carpet and outside of the boat. I'll be picking it up tonight or tomorrow. And I will definitely be posting some pictures.
