I made the storage pocket in mine much more useful by installing a cb radio in it. I never really used it, too shallow to hold the phone and I never trusted the wallet there.

My storage pocket is the hole where whatever was there isn’t there. It works but there is a gap shit falls in. I found 4 cigarettes in there cleaning the truck

One of the guys from the 6.5 diesel Facebook page sent me some command info last night so I can tap into the ECM and pull trans temp. Also, the MAP sensor gauge actually shows boost on these trucks, so the only other ones I'm really missing is EGT and fuel pressure.
Sweet that saves on installing gauges. That's the nice part about odb stuff being able to easily read sensors from the ecm for data.

But yeah, I like clean simple stuff and one gauge to do it all should be great.

What's wrong with gauges?
I don't mind gauges. I just wasn't happy with the available locations. This route is so clean that it makes me so happy.
How many parameters can you monitor simultaneously? Does it scroll through the list? Or it just shows those 3 at a time?
I'm with Riley. It doesn't count unless you have enough gauges to monitor absolutely everything. Power plants have the right idea.
So yeah...I'm doomed to be picking an OBD2-compatible vehicle for my next project.

It shows 4 at a time, but you can do up to 25 gauges that you can scroll through with the push of a button.
Does it have the option of scrolling through them automatically?
Not that I have found yet.
I looked into getting a scangauge when I bought the gauges I have, read up on it, and didn't find anything about auto scrolling. Would be a cool feature though. In the end, I decided I'd rather have actual gauges.
Ran home on my lunch and threw in the correct commands. I now have a trans temp gauge(TFT), it was that easy. Still need to figure out boost, and if I can pull EGT's from the factory ECU.
There is no sensor for egts so that's going to have a be a manual gauge. That's cool they monitor trans temp though. Does the map sensor give you a normal psi reading starting at zero? Some manufacturers do weird crap and start at atmosphere pressure of 14.whatever psi.
