2000 GMT400 CREW CAB SFA SWAP-The Warden: Fuel leak fixed and awaiting surgery…

The ultimate goal for this truck is tow duty/family camping trips/small offroad adventures.
The 4x4 swap has to get done. The 2wd trans is already planned for the K5. And the truck that is leaving is the Harley truck. Not the 6.5
Lol. Ok. What's the scoop on the new ride? Miles? Options? Good deal? Know the owner?
Can't post a new ride without details.

I’ll make a maintenance thread for it with information.

But it is a 2003 Duramax with 150k on it. New injectors and 100% un messed with. The guy still had the protective plastic on the brake controller screen. So that’s how nice the inside is. No tune, no aftermarket exhaust, no cranked torsion bars. Picked it up in Missouri today for $12,000.

Getting fuel before the trip home.

Get some 265s for it and drive it.

Greg. Do you have any idea it the t/c has been updated with a pump saver? That would be my only concern with that truck. ATM
If you don’t know at least check the level on the oil in the transfercase!
I’m no expert but I do know a ton about the lb7 trucks.

It starts from there... 285s will rub. So then he will crank the bars, then he will want a progamer to adjust the speedo, then he might as well add power and the next thing you know it isn’t going to be stock anymore! :haha:
Some people have self control!
I mean, Greg doesn't. But some people do!

I can say without a doubt you stole that truck for $12k. We've taken in a couple of Grandpa fresh GMT800 dirtymax trucks with similar or less miles and had people fighting over them at $20k. A customer that ordered a new '18 a couple of years ago had a clean ECLB '02 dirtymax with similar miles and decided they could get more selling themselves than trading it to us. They were right, but still lowballed themselves. Listed it at $15k and within 5 minutes of the ad going live on the web their phone wouldn't stop ringing. They could have cranked the price up and still had people lined up on it.

Fresh injectors is a bonus too. That's $3000 worth of injectors alone, not including the labor to put them in plus all the other goodies that goodies along with the job.

Nice score for sure! Good work!
