Not yet. Haven't had a lot of time to research much.
I have new brake hoses for it.At least you are making progress elsewhere. Will your brake hoses bolt up to the ford calipers?
Well, there is more than just a ratchet strap. But why are you so worried about it?This thing sitting loosely on top of the axle just seems terrifying to me. Is there anything keeping the axle in place aside from the ratchet strap?

No beano, man. I keep thinking that the truck is sitting loosely on the axle tube with no u-bolts to keep it from simply rolling away and dropping the truck onto the ground.Truck is in gear with the parking brake set. It rolls no where. I also put jack stands under it when I work on it.

Truck should be finished this weekend, er...well driving at least. Camper is coming in the next couple months.

Yes sir. And a Borg Werner 4401? I think.
Edit: It's a BW 4470.
RE EDIT: It is a 4401. The 4470 was used for the 3500HD's

Was that case very expensive to pick up?
I'm just wondering, since you were taking a 2wd truck to start and converting to 4wd, why didn't you get a GM d60 and pick up a gm tcase and have a passenger drop? Did you happen to find a good deal on the ford d60? Cause I know around here guys want a lot of money for the "good years" ford d60's, to the point you could just find a gm d60 for probably cheaper.
