Ill be in touch when the trip happens...its going to depend on when Kert gets his racecar ready to run, and the dragstrip opens....tentatively planning on the weekend of the 25-26, and getting to the 64C10 on Monday the 27th or 28th.

Got back about 3:00pm got straight to working on the shop pad. Truck did great. Going to be a good trip truck for sure.
So my brother is selling his ‘03 Duramax. He has decided to give me all his cool stuff since he doesn’t want to sell it with the truck.
2 10’s for and under the rear seat box with an amp. His timbren bumps. And a couple hitches for the bed rails. One I picked up tonight. Also going to pick up a 5th wheel hitch.

See I think they look good, but not sure it’s the look I want for this truck. My buddy really wants them, so I think I’ll sell them to him and get some 285’s for the PYO wheels.
I love the look of the factory HD wheels on these trucks. I wouldn't change them out. I also vote for removing the side trim too. I don't like that stuff on anything. My black DMAX I had back in the day I pulled the trim and had it sprayed with bedliner from the body trim line down and also behind the flares. If you ever remove them be prepared since they are most likely rubbed through the paint on the edges.
I think the black rims would look good.
I also like the trim on the sides.
Factory PYOs with 285s is a nice clean look that is always nice to see.

Ball joints are shot on the new truck. So was going to run to the parts store in the white truck.....dead battery. Luckily I jumped it with the grey truck only to remember the caliper is seized on the 6.5
So now I am vehicleless to run to the parts store.
