Edit: Nope, he's right. Apparently they are just that loose. Weird! I'll run this stock 7,000 mile chain with the plastic block as shown.

But yeah, they just are that sloppy and it gets everyone that gets in an LS I think lol

Yes LS chains are notoriously sloppy vs an old SBC or BBC chain. This is why I always put a better one in, like a Howards or a ProGear. But its not really necessary on a stock engine.
