Can anyone post some pictures or anything helpful for knowing what all the crap on the d60 is? It has a different layout then I was expecting. I am wondering what I need to cut off and what I can save

you should just need spring perches and cut the rest off. as sas kit will give you new shock tabs .

Well I am stumped a bit. I contacted Off Road Unlimited, Off Road Design and Sky Manufacturing about there sas brackets. While all were very helpful I am left with nothing still. All available kits are designed for axles with 31.5" spring pads and I bought a 36.5" unit. ORU has the most comprehensive package at a much higher (1400) cost than Sky (400). Sky said some of his customers have made his brackets work but has no first hand knowledge. I am waiting on the write up from ChickenRammit on his 99' 3500 sas install to gather more info on his experience with Sky's parts. I don't yet know what pad width axle he used.

I am hoping not to start from scratch.

Any input?

I have a hunch it will be a combo of scratch and off the shelf. Google, "obs chevy sas" And a few other things along those lines. Watch for the ones from pirate 4x4.

So I ordered Sky Manufacturing's 36.5" hangers and crossover steering. I ordered a pair or 52" custom springs from ORU.

Traded it before the sas install. Had ALL the parts and buddy wanted it. I traded it for score legal 8s K5. I'm building rock racer type truck for my pop

I'm back to my old 91' now doing a panel job, painting the same color and a ton of little mods.
