mmmmm...look at that grill!

How would you mount that C60 front clip on there? A lot of custom work or are the mounts all the same?

I get a kick out of people on his movies/Trucks Gone Wild rolling over there 30 foot high trucks with 64 inch tires. Then to have a 600 hp mud race truck on 39 inch boggers out do them.

Nobody asked you. If you do not like my build then get out. I have seen how you treat others on here, and personally you are not welcome in my thread.:angry1: STFU!

All you do is give people back handed compliments.

Ranot off.

Chevy305....

There has been a little fabrication in everything that I have done so far, so mounting a front clip will be cake!:doah:

The frame is a little lower on the 2 1/2 ton trucks, so a lift block will have to be used to mount it, but I should be getting a whole truck, so that should make everything alot easier.....

I don't know why you took offense but if you have problems I guess it's fine. I wasn't even talking about your truck.

Now back to our regularly scheduled program.

I got alot of little stuff wrapped up tonight, but got hurt a few times in the process.

I will have some pics up later this week with detail of the merging of the two bodies....

OK, as promised, some updated pics of the current progress.

What I decided to do at the last moment was to paint some of the interior panels with an ouline of WHITE PAINT. I actually painted the Blazer portion so those wanting to do this can better understand what portion of each is needed to use for the conversion.

This is a pic of the drivers side where the Blazer body meets the Suburban rearmost crossmember, where the tailpan would attach if you were using Barn doors. You can also see where I removed the spare tire pocket.

Here you can see the difference in the sheetmetal of the Suburban and the Blazer. Even though the Blazer and Suburban are the same difference in length from behind the door to the rear of the vehicle, the placement of the wheelwells, as you can see are placed TOTALLY different.

Also, the interior panels in the Suburban mount to the actual sheetmetal while the Blazer has stand off mounts that are like 3-4" off of the sheetmetal. This is an easy fix, just cut it lower and use the Blazer mounts and shetmetal. The pictures explain better.

Now, this is where the work starts. I wanted to keep as much as the interior of the Blazer as possible, because it looks nice and I wanted this project to look as GM had should of done it.

Behind the door areas do not meet up very well and I HAD to open ths area up so the Blazer sheetmetal would drop in the Suburban tub.

Roof of Blazer. It leans down quite a bit due to weight. It is not tacke din palce just yet. I am working my way from the back forward.

Looking in to the passenger's side.

Now I have some more fab work to do here. You can see where the Suburban fuel filler is, where the Blazer fuel filler was and where the Suburban AC lines went through the floor.

Passenger detail.

Here is an overall pic. It gives you a better idea of what everything looks like. You can see that the bottom of the pic, where I removed the tailpan and how it resembles more of a Blazer/Truck. Chevrolet used the same rear crossmember on all of these trucks I think, because mine look just like a Blazer one and a Truck, but is missing some holes, but has an indent where these hoels would have been cut at eh factor.

Very nice. I have been wanting to do this and you just made me want it more.
